I got the whole Umbra Zen bathroom set (towel bar, toilet paper holder, and towel ring) and this was one of the easiest to install. The trick with the little screw is to not back it completely out of the base, just enough so the base can slide over the plate without getting in the way. The only complaint I have about this is it's squeaky!! Nothing a little WD40 can't solve, but still disconcerting listening to the "ring" part wiggle and squeak while installing.
Like the others, this may scratch easily so be careful.

I got a lot of compliments on my Umbra Zen bathroom sets. I really like them - they look super zen and modern and were at a super low price compared to some of the in store stuff that just looked ok. I guess the reason is that the backs are hollow. It also feels a little less sturdy, but then I felt some of the ones in the store and they were also light and cheap. My conclusion is that this is how it is at this price range and I'm not ok with paying a $50 for a towel holder. It does look expensive with the square design. Hasn't fallen off or broken so that's also good and I've been using it for 7 months now. Didn't get any compliants from the guy who screwed it on the wall so I guess it's ok installation. Overall, happy with my purchase and would buy again since I'm very money concious.
